Terms of Use

These terms of use (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the cristallise.ca website and the purchase of products and services offered by Cristallise, a business established in Québec, Canada. By using this site or placing an order, you accept these Terms in their entirety.

1. Products and Services

Cristallise offers products manufactured by Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing as well as custom parametric modeling services. Each part is printed individually and may exhibit slight variations in color, texture, or dimensions compared to the images displayed on the site.

Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only. 3D renders and photographs may not exactly represent the final product. On-screen colors may vary depending on your monitor settings.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST/QST) will be added at checkout where applicable.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Cristallise does not store any credit card information.

Cristallise reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Prices in effect at the time of the order apply.

3. Orders and Manufacturing

Each order is manufactured on demand. Manufacturing time is typically 2 to 7 business days depending on the complexity and volume of the part. This does not include shipping time.

Cristallise reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if the model is not printable, if the specifications are technically unfeasible, or for any other legitimate reason. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

4. Shipping

Deliveries are made within Canada. Shipping costs and delivery times are indicated at checkout and vary by destination and package weight.

Delivery times are provided as estimates and do not constitute a guarantee. Cristallise cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, force majeure events, or customs.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon handover of the package to the carrier.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom-made nature of our 3D printed products, returns and refunds are limited to the following situations:

• Defective product: major print defect rendering the product unusable (cracks, warping, missing layers).
• Order error: product does not match the order placed (wrong item, wrong configuration).
• Shipping damage: product damaged during transit (photos required within 48 hours of receipt).

Return requests must be submitted by email to info@cristallise.ca within 14 days of receipt. Minor variations in color, texture, or dimensions inherent to the 3D printing process do not constitute a defect.

In accordance with Section 214.8 of the Québec Consumer Protection Act, goods manufactured to order according to the consumer's specifications may be excluded from the right of resolution.

6. Limitation of Liability

3D printed products by Cristallise are provided "as is." Cristallise does not warrant that products are suitable for a specific purpose beyond the general decorative or functional use described in the product listing.

Cristallise shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use its products, including but not limited to:

• Property damage caused by improper use or misuse beyond the intended purpose.
• Injuries resulting from misuse or modification of the product.
• Loss of data or 3D files provided by the customer.
• Loss of profits or business opportunities.

Cristallise's total liability, regardless of cause, is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.

8. Material Safety

Our products are printed with industrial-grade materials (PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA). These materials are not certified for food contact unless explicitly stated on the product listing.

Do not expose PLA products to temperatures above 60°C. Products should not be used near open flames. Refer to the relevant material data sheet for thermal and mechanical limits.

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, 3D models, images, and content on cristallise.ca are the property of Cristallise and are protected by Canadian copyright laws.

3D files provided by the customer for printing remain the property of the customer. By submitting a file, the customer warrants that they hold the necessary rights and indemnifies Cristallise from any liability in case of intellectual property infringement.

10. Project Evaluation

The project evaluation service provides a feasibility analysis and cost estimate based on the information provided by the customer. This evaluation is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a contractual commitment by Cristallise to carry out the project at the estimated price.

Project evaluation fees are non-refundable, as the service is rendered upon delivery of the analysis.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Québec.

In accordance with the Québec Consumer Protection Act, no clause in these Terms may limit the rights granted to the consumer by that Act. In case of conflict between these Terms and the Consumer Protection Act, the latter prevails.

12. Changes

Cristallise reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site. Continued use of the site after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
